Corinna Parish. Born and raised in Michigan. Mother of a beautiful daughter inside and out. Nerd for healing and reviving our culture around health, communication and connection. Advocate for environmental literacy and reuniting people with nature.
I'm here now as a present-centered relationship coach to help people get empowered and more connected with themselves and in relationship. I'm on a path to support global health through healthier relationships.
No matter the life chapter, what has been at the core of my journey is to grow my capacity to have more resilience, more trust, and more confidence in myself and trust in what I was going through. It took me seeking culture and meaning and graduating high school early, ten years in university, the birth of my now eleven-year-old daughter with life’s expedited invitation to centering, the tragic loss of my brother, the journey to find my voice and speak my truth, and being my own personal archaeologist to more fully arrive at a more empowered me. And the journey never ends.
After I graduated with my bachelor’s degrees in Global International Studies and Environmental and Sustainability Studies I was certain I'd focus on environmental education. I wanted to share with others and young adults the same peace of mind from peace of nature that I experience. After some time substitute teaching and facilitating team-building outdoors, I began to question if nature was enough to some degree. How could students thrive in an educational atmosphere where they lacked social and emotional awareness and their needs not supported? To thrive in a culture where connection is inferior to achievement and checking off a task list.
This realization about social and emotional awareness in schools, combined with my personal journey with communication eventually led me to coach training. I wanted to help others live true to themselves, to live alive and connected, bringing me right back to my middle school dream job to “help others live happy lives”. After going through health coach training, I returned to an even deeper focus on communication and found my sweet spot and community at The Relationship School. To find a community and coach-approach that both supported me and challenged me was pivotal, confronting, and awe-inspiring. The emphasis on personal responsibility, integrity, growth, and leaning into our intimate relationships as a path to growth resonated deeply and meaningfully.
I am now a Present-Centered Relationship Coach with a Level 1 Certification from The Relationship School, currently training in Level 2 to work more intentionally with couples. I work with people from all walks of life who want to live in integrity and to live life to its fullest. My clients are dedicated to empowering themselves through relational and self awareness and are aware that a deep love, connection, and security in relationship brings deeper health and, in return, more vibrant living. I believe this is wealth.
I wish for all to get empowered with an internal light and fire that can never be taken away but can be shared. To have a healthy connection with self, a healthy connection with others, and a healthy connection with the environment.
Everyone deserves this vibrant living. To taste joy, to make memories, to experience health inside and out, and to grow and to connect. In the long run, I am honored to serve as a relationship coach as I believe that healthier relationships give way to a healthier world. Through a legacy of love we create a ripple effect of awareness, resilience, and connection.
